Society for Developmental Biology Awards for Best Presentation
Attendees at the Southeast Regional Society for Developmental Biology Meeting will select the best poster by a graduate student and will select the best oral by a postdoctoral fellow who are current members of SDB. The best regional graduate students from all the 2018 regional meetings will be entered into the Best Student Poster Competition and the best regional postdoctoral presenters from all the 2018 regional meetings are automatically considered for a short talk at the Hilde Mangold Postdoctoral Symposium at the Annual Meeting.
Each winner will receive up to $1,000 to cover the costs associated with attending the 77th Annual Society for Developmental Biology Meeting in Portland, Oregon on July 20-24, 2018. Allowable costs include travel, housing, meals, and registration expenses. Recipients of this award must submit their winning abstract when registering for the meeting.
In addition, local awards will be given for best poster and oral presentation for undergraduates, graduate students, and postdoctoral fellows.
